Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

What a treat to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a festive, snowy gathering + Luna Leggings Trunk Show at ruffles + ruffnecks – check out some of the highlights…..

ruffles + ruffnecks is a beautiful, high-end children’s boutique located across from majestic Lake Tahoe in my favorite part of Tahoe, Tahoe City.  Owner Susan Dougherty has built an incredible community of families with her store as the local hub + hang out, as well as the go-to shop for children’s apparel, accessories, costumes, toys + more.  She carries an eclectic array of fabulous lines, together creating a unique, bohemian-cool vibe.  Susan’s been a loyal Luna Leggings fan for the past 3 years selling a ton of Luna to her customers!

I absolutely adore Susan and her store, especially as Tahoe has been inspiration to Luna Leggings since it’s inception. So of course I was thrilled to join Susan for an afternoon of Art with Salvage Tahoe, delicious GF treats from Sugarpine Bakery, not to mention champagne + shopping!  Aside from meeting and hanging out with such a fun, fabulous crowd, I loved seeing the kids wearing their Luna Leggings + Luna Lounge!

And the kids really enjoyed creating beautiful handcrafted Valentine’s Day cards with the help and guidance from Alissa Morganti of Salvaged Tahoe.   Alissa orchestrated the perfect art project with watercolors, tape and crayons for kids of all ages, and the cards seriously turned out beautiful, colorful + unique.  I absolutely loved Alissa’s use of repurposed sheet music- the kids used to manually fold envelopes for their cards.  Fabulous!

What an afternoon!  With all the excitement and the snow, some of us got a little tired.   As we winded it down….

We love all the support for Luna Leggings – this little girl went home with a complimentary pair of Luna’s for her collection!

Thank you so much, Susan, for hosting the fun!  We hope to make it an annual event, especially since now your darling Travis is such an integral part of Luna.  Don’t miss him doning our latest Fall/Winter 15 Luna Lounge styles on set at the Ferrari Crown Motel in Lake Tahoe.  Was so fun hanging out with this sweet, joyful, laid-back little guy- and those eyes!!
